The future has arrived — at least, the future to which Michael J. Fox traveled as Marty McFly in Back to the Future Part II, released in November 1989.

So much has been accomplished in the last 27 years. Do you remember there were NO mobile phones? NO ATM machines (at least as we use them nowadays)...

However hoverboards, self-lacing shoes and flying cars are still the stuff of science fiction...
